Founded by flaco, WEAREOKAY is a high-energy pop punk project built with intent and momentum. After years fronting reggae bands in San Diego, flaco stripped everything back and started writing without a rulebook. The result was fast, hook-driven pop punk rooted in the sound that shaped him. He sent the early tracks to longtime collaborator Stephen Henry, known as Snowdreamer, who was living in North Carolina at the time. Within weeks, Stephen moved west to help turn the project into a fully operational band. With Nick Wejbe completing the lineup, WEAREOKAY quickly shifted from concept to execution.
WEAREOKAY is now preparing to release a full legnth album and is actively booking a full Southern California release run. The band’s sound is fueled by the energy of skateboarding, surfing, and jiu jitsu, paired with the urgency and melody of 2000s pop punk, delivered through a modern, aggressive live show. This is a band built for packed rooms, loud sing-alongs, and consistent touring. WEAREOKAY is not a nostalgia act or a side project. It is a focused, professional operation designed to move tickets, connect with crowds, and grow quickly in the Southern California market.
